These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the PicNotes mobile application and related services (the “Service”), operated by Pixeloop Studios.

By accessing or using PicNotes, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

You must use the Service in compliance with applicable laws and only for lawful purposes.

If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated where necessary.

PicNotes provides AI-powered tools to help users capture, organize, summarize, and better understand notes, documents, audio, and study materials.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes
• Upload malicious code, harmful files, or abusive content
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service
• Copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or exploit the Service except where permitted by law
• Use the Service in a way that infringes the rights of others

You retain ownership of any content you upload, submit, record, or create within PicNotes, including notes, images, audio, PDFs, and text.

By using the Service, you grant Pixeloop Studios a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, and analyze your content solely for the purpose of operating, maintaining, and improving the features you request from the app.

We do not claim ownership of your content.

PicNotes may use artificial intelligence to generate summaries, explanations, visualizations, and other outputs based on the content you provide.

AI-generated content is provided for general informational and educational purposes only and may not always be accurate, complete, or suitable for every situation.

PicNotes may offer optional paid features, premium plans, or auto-renewable subscriptions.

• 01Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or applicable platform account at confirmation of purchase.
• 02Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• 03Your account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• 04You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID or platform account settings after purchase.
• 05Refunds are handled by the platform through which the purchase was made, subject to that platform’s policies and applicable law.

The Service, including its design, branding, software, interface, text, graphics, and other materials provided by Pixeloop Studios, are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except as expressly permitted in these Terms, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or otherwise exploit any part of the Service.

We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any part of PicNotes at any time, with or without notice.

We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, misused the Service, or created risk or legal exposure for us or other users.

You may stop using the Service at any time.

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.

We make no warranties or representations regarding the accuracy, reliability, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of the Service or any AI-generated output.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pixeloop Studios and its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, profits, or business opportunities arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the amount you paid, if any, for the Service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Your use of PicNotes is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.

Continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

If you downloaded PicNotes from the Apple App Store, your use of the app may also be subject to Apple’s applicable End User License Agreement terms. In the event of any conflict between Apple’s required terms and these Terms, Apple’s required terms will control solely to the extent required.
